The second season of "Blue Planet" continues the story of the study of the little-known depths of the oceans. The latest technologies make it possible, like never before, to look at the water world of the Earth and show the viewer the explored edge of the underwater world, which was previously inaccessible to the human eye. Modern equipment and experienced developers will present a colorful and clear deep-sea survey, which displays the rarest shots from the life of the inhabitants of the ocean world. We will be able to get to know each other and discover for ourselves a large amount of what we previously could not even guess about.

The announcement of the series with the working title "World Oceans" was made back in 2013, but the name was later changed to "Blue Planet 2". The project has been filmed for more than four years, including 125 expeditions in 39 countries and more than 6,000 hours spent under water. In each episode of the series several parts dedicated to a particular animal or part of the world. Using the latest technologies and unique equipment for deep-sea filming will reveal to the viewer the most secret secrets of the world's oceans and will allow you to see the rarest shots from the life of its inhabitants, the existence of which we could only guess previously.
